Our mission is to provide access to nutritious food for those who are without, serving as a community bridge between those who want to help and those who are in need. Faith Church of the Valley participates in the “Help Yourself!” Program presented by the United Food Bank. The “Help Yourself!” program offers households the ability to stretch their food dollars a little further by taking advantage of our food buying power.
Each pre-paid, pre-assembled food box will contain:
5lbs frozen meats (5 lbs chicken leg quarters, 1 lb bacon, 1 lb hamburger, 1 lb sausage or turkey, 1 lb lunch meat or hot dogs)
5 packaged dry goods
4 items of fresh produce & fruit
Complimentary bread or pastry
A $40-$50 total value for only: $16 per box (no box limits)
Cash or food stamps only.

Food boxes must be ordered and PRE-PAID at least four days before the scheduled pick up date.
Pick up your food box at FCOV on the 4th Thursday each month anytime between 10:00am – Noon (If you are unable to pick up your box at the scheduled time please call 480.838.6559 to make other arrangements.)

See Burks McGlasson, stop by the Information Center Sunday morning, or stop by the office, during office hours*, to PRE-PAY in cash for your food box that will be available the 4th Thursday each month from 10:00am – Noon at FCOV.

If you need a food box before the end of the month, you may go to the United Food Bank at:
358 E. Javelina Avenue, Mesa, west of Mesa Drive between US 60 and Baseline – next to the Motor Vehicle Department.
No registration is required and they distribute food boxes most Fridays from 8:00am – 2:00pm & one Saturday per month from 8:00am – 2:00pm
