INFORMATION/WELCOME CENTER TEAM (Contact: The Church Office frontdesk@fcov.org )

“Welcome to Faith Church of the Valley!”  Volunteers at the Information Center keep guests and regular attenders up to date on the programs, services, and ministries at Faith Church.  A wide range of information is available including maps of the campus, Sunday school class schedules, ministry and volunteer opportunities, membership information, ticket sales, and event registration.  Guests and visitors who make the Information Center their first stop receive a warm welcome and an information packet about Faith Church. Visitors and guests may also request a tour of the facilities as well as assistance with enrolling their children in Sunday school.

GREETERS TEAM (Contact: The Church Office frontdesk@fcov.org )

Our greeters extend a warm welcome to visitors and regular attenders as they arrive on campus. Helping visitors feel at ease, introducing them to others and helping them to become familiar and comfortable with the facility is a priority. Their desire is to be available, offer assistance, and respond to specific needs and questions. Greeters show they care by helping children to their Sunday School classes and by reaching out to guests after church. Our greeters are located at many stations around the facility.

USHERS TEAM (Service Leader: Bob Boers, 480.831.7477)

Our ushers serve in the worship service by greeting attenders as they enter the sanctuary. They pass out bulletins, take the offering, assist with greeting, and handle any problem that may arise during the services. This ministry is for individuals who have good people skills and enjoy helping others.

COFFEE CART CREW (Contact: The Church Office frontdesk@fcov.org )

“Coffee/Tea?” A sense of warmth and hospitality is offered by this group on Sunday mornings as a warm cup of coffee is served to anyone stopping by the coffee bar. Refreshments for the “Pastors Meet-and-Greet” reception after church are also provided by this ministry. Church-wide receptions are generally directed by the refreshment team.

KITCHEN TEAM (Contact: The Church Office frontdesk@fcov.org )

Food and drink has been part of Christian fellowship since the time of Jesus. Today, a well appointed kitchen benefits the entire church body when it comes time to serve refreshments. The Kitchen Team works together to maintain supplies, organize equipment and train others on kitchen-use procedure and policies. A few times a year, larger church-wide functions are coordinated and hosted by this team.
